The Holy Spirit continues to fertilize the charism of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Santo Antonio Maria Claret, giving rise to two new groups belonging to the Congregation: the Claretian Lay Institute (ICLAM), which was born in Londrina and the Claretian Ecclesial Fraternity (FEC) , which was founded in Chile.
The Claretian Lay Institute (ICLAM)
Lay Missionaries linked to the Congregation of the Missionaries of Santo Antonio Maria Claret, continue the mission of Jesus in the world, who came to proclaim the merciful and redeeming love of the Father. They have in Santo Antonio Maria Claret, their major Patron and in Mons. Geraldo Fernandes and Mother Leonia Milito, the inspirers of their Claretian life. In the dimension of the missionary charism that they propose to us to live as LAY people, they are called to continue their secular tasks and commitments in the midst of the world, the mission of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Santo Antonio Maria Claret, summarized in the explicit proclamation of the Word and in the service of Charity”, which takes concrete form in the practice of works of mercy, being in solidarity and serving all without distinction, but always in the evangelical light of the preferential option for the poorest poor.
The Claretian Ecclesial Fraternity (FEC)
As an Institute of Consecrated Lay Women, they consecrate themselves in secularity by living in the world, tending towards the perfection of charity and seeking the sanctification of the world in which they carry out their mission. They unite secularity and consecration through the stable bond of life, they give themselves totally to the following of Christ the Missionary and Redeemer, they take on the evangelical counsels through the vows, they fully live their baptismal consecration while preserving their lay identity, they respond to the mission of the Church and they commit themselves by inserting themselves into temporal realities, cooperating in the construction of a fraternal society. Living in the ordinary circumstances of the world, alone, in one’s family or in a group of fraternal life, you are called to participate actively in the fraternity with prayer, professional and apostolic work, in fraternal communion with each other.
How to participate?
